Lahori Style Strimps Peas Pulao

A flavorful Lahori-style Peas pulao made with juicy Large Strimps, fragrant basmati rice, and aromatic spices—a seafood twist on a beloved classic.

Ingredients:

300g Fresh St! Medium Strimps

2 cups basmati rice (soaked)

1 cup Fresh St! Garden peas

1 large onion (sliced)

2 tomatoes (chopped)

1/2 cup yogurt

4 green chilies (slit)

1 tsp each: garam masala, cumin seeds, red chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

4 cups water

Whole spices: bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon

Salt, oil/ghee, fresh coriander, fried onions

Instructions:

Sauté Fresh St! Medium Strimps with turmeric and salt for 2 minutes; set aside.

Heat oil, add whole spices, and fry onions until golden.

Add ginger, garlic, chilies, tomatoes, and spices; cook until the oil separates.

Stir in yogurt, peas, and shrimps. Add soaked rice and 4 cups of water.

Cook on low heat until rice is tender and water is absorbed.

Garnish with coriander and fried onions. Serve hot with raita.
